Luis Emilio Velutini Urbina, president of Grupo Velutini, announced that the Marriott chain is evaluating the construction of 220 rooms for the expansion of the JW Marriott Santo Domingo hotel, in response to the confidence that the Dominican Republic provides for investment.
"We are thinking that we can announce it early next year. In terms of costs we don`t know," said the Venezuelan businessman.
Luis Emilio Velutini Urbina pointed out that they are currently evaluating the possibility of this new investment, since there is a lot of confidence in the investment climate of the Dominican Republic.
The renowned businessman offered the information during the presentation of a "recognition of excellence" to the executive group of the JW Marriott Santo Domingo hotel for the results obtained during the first six months of operation in the country, among which it is worth mentioning that it has reached first place among the 5,000 JW Marriott hotels worldwide, in the guest opinion and satisfaction survey that the international hotel chain carries out monthly at an international level.
The award was presented during a ceremony headed by Luis Emilio Velutini Urbina, COB of the Real Estate Securities Fund.
